SILENT AUCTION FUNDRAISER AT THE GALLERY

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 4pm to 7pm

Good food, good company, and a way to support Maine's oldest  art organization.   Bid for fabulous donated original artworks at the silent auction.   Tickets are $20 per person, cash bar, available at the Gallery office or from any Board Member.

Auction artworks may be previewed at the first floor of the gallery September 8^th,9^th and 10th from 10AM to 4PM.  Featured among these works is a pastel from the estate of a greatly loved Damariscotta artist: Natalie Wriggins.  The artwork is titled ‘Spring Rows” and has an appraised value of $750.  An accomplished and sensitive artist, Natalie shared her passion for art with everyone she met, she encouraged budding artists, was generous with materials and advice, was a perfect teacher, sharing her knowledge and encouraging others.  A graduate of the University of Colorado, her artwork can be found in corporate and private collections through out the United States.
